He served as Executive Director of the Maryland Republican Party during both the 1990 and 1992 elections. In 1994, Kevin was the political director for Ellen Sauerbrey's Gubernatorial campaign. He has been on Capitol Hill with then Congressman Connie Mack of Florida and Rep. Jack Quinn of New York. He worked as a legislative affairs specialist in the Reagan Administration and was the Republican nominee for Congress in Maryland's fifth district in 1980.
In 1995, he established IGOE/Associates, a legislative and political strategies firm. His clients include State Senators Jean Roesser of Montgomery County and Larry Haines of Carroll County, Harford County Executive Jim Harkins, Montgomery County Councilman Howard Denis and Maryland Business for Responsive Government.
Kevin is a frequent panelist on "21 This Week", a Montgomery County news talk show. He provides analysis for WTOP all news radio and Maryland Public Television. His opinions on current events have been published in the Washington Post, the Baltimore Sun and the Journal newspapers. He serves on the faculty of the Leadership Institute, a Virginia based conservative political action training foundation. He earned a Masters in Public Administration from the George Washington University. The Gazette Newspapers recently called him the "Republican Party's top consultant in Maryland."
